HORNET POST DRIVER NO GRAPPLE WITH TILT NO ADDITIONAL WEIGHT ***WITH 8" DOMED DRIVING TOOL

Drive like a pro even on your own

The model T8-RR drives T-posts up to 8" diameter posts and pipes at 400-800 strikes/minute and compares to the 1,150 ft.-lb. energy class. The railroad tie flat driving tool allows the unit to drive railroad ties, posts, and pipes up to 12".

Hornet post drivers come standard with a flow control valve, allowing the post driver to run on vehicles with hydraulic flows up to 30 GPM. Tool-less quick change feature makes swapping driving tools without hammer or punch a breeze. An additional weight kit lets operators fine-tune driver weight to match vehicle operating capacity which can increase driving speed up to 50% faster than base unit.

Nitrogen Charged Post Drivers

Jackhammer style post drivers have a chamber that holds a volume of nitrogen gas. The nitrogen is necessary for the post driver to perform the up and down stroke of the piston. The PSI of the nitrogen is critical to the operation of the driver. While a change in pressure can happen during dramatic seasonal changes, other than a routine pressure inspection, you should not need to do anything to the driver.

What Type Of Maintenance Is Required?

In addition to greasing the single grease zerk every two hours of use, checking the nitrogen pressure as the operator’s manual recommends. A thorough inspection of this or any attachment is always a good idea.
